No cuts, No buts, No coconuts!

I have, shamefully, let you guys down again. I didn't take any pictures! I really want to and every time I think about doing it my stubborn laziness kicks in and takes control! I am glued to my chair and can't get up!

This was a long and fulfilling weekend. I went thrift shopping all over the place I thought my legs were going to have to be amputated! I went to Red Tags, the DAV, Salvation Army, and Walmart (yes, I am aware that this isn't a thrift store, but you can find anything, and everything, there it might as well be).

At the Red Tags I saw these blue shoes that I ended up leaving without for some stupid reason. Later my right conscience kicked in and I dragged my sister all the way over there again.

I found a crap ton at the DAV, as usual. I found these mint green square earrings that are the definition of perfectionism! When I went to put them on, they turned out to be clip-ons (even better)!

Walmart was fun! We (my sister and I (I'm a scared-y cat and she goes everywhere with me)) got a kitty blanket (it is literally just the finished cut. Right off the measuring board thing-y ma-gigger. I picked up some more flowers to make another headband with and we got clothing hangers. If you ask me, this is probably one of the most weirdest combinations of items you can get. The checker-out-person handed me my flowers. He said he had to be cheesy. I died laughing. Pretty funny stuff man!

This isn't an outfit post (as you may have already notice. Great job)! I'm merely writing because I feel that it is crucial to let you guys in on how my brain operates (Notification: you're in for a crazy mind twisting, "what the bleep", kind of joy ride).

So many of the things I buy give people like "Whhaatt??" moments and they hate it (they have untrained eyes. In my mind anyway). When I see something that looks like this, I see this magical wonderland of all the possibile possibilites that are never ending ways to wear this piece. But, at the same time I see nothing. It's like a mind cloud that is empty that is actually filled, but invisible. I don't know how it will work until I get home. It's really weird and I hope you guys are putting your brains in the blender and shashing your eyes into jelly right now.

If your minds aren't a twisted narrow path that you can't undo even if you tired all night, you're awesome dude! As for the rest of you.... Hahahaa just kidding. I perfectly understand.

I also wanted to share with you guys some pictures of things that make me happy and inspire me. I sometimes feel like I have been there or I had a dream about it.

Here are a few of the pictures that really inspire me and a couple of some of my favorite things. **All off of Google**

These are pictures from the New York subway in 1960.
Gotta have some Bowie!

This is Hannible Lector, Mr. Lector, as I call him. From the famous Silence of the Lambs. I'm to marry Mr. Lector one day.

This is just AWESOME!

I love records!
This is my dream car!

 These pictures are really beautiful.

I think this looks über cool all pixely.

I have a SURPRISE! I started writing this post yesterday and I said that this wasn't an outfit post. I lied (GASP)!! You get an outfit post! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

But first, I am going to give you a virtual tour of my bedroom. Oh aren't you lucky!

 This is my teeny-tiny closet.
This is my gunk box that I regularly take things from to put in my hair.
My pretty flowers that have been alive for years! (They are fake)
Vintage books that I have never read in my life.
My head board to my bed.

These are the shoes that I went back to get at the last minute before they closed. Aren't they gorgeous?!
This was $2!! Woohoo

I intruded while my sis was taking a picture of the sun.

I got this shirt from Red Racks. I love it!
Whose ever's grandmother owned these shoes, I think you're freakishly amazing and I want to meet you!

I couldn't figure out how to do a crown braid, so I french braided my hair on both sides of my head and wrapped them around my head (well duhh, where else would they go?).

This is probably one of my most favorite outfits that I have put together. I haven't been this happy to wear something in a while. It's so light and bright (did you catch that?). It is such a spring outfit. It was 80 degrees today. WAAAY TOO HOT!!

This was a ridiculously long post and I hope you are still here. You made it to the finish line! Congratulations!!

I have something too cool for school to share with you guys next time!

Have a great day tomorrow and god luck with any tests you might have!

Crash and Burn!

I haven't been posting recently because my computers router crashed! We had to order another one and it took forever! I have missed writing to you guys so much!! Everyday I was sitting on my couch upside down (annoying people I might add) and talking to myself saying "I need to write. I have to write!" I was not in a good mood this week because of it.

In my last post I was telling you guys about how I wanted a ducky and that I was going to get one... I GOT TWO!!! The yellow one's name is George and the black one's name is Oscar. They are the cutest little guys in the WORLD!!

I haven't been able to get a good picture of Oscar. I just got him yesterday and I've had George since Monday evening. My teacher had Oscar and her doggies didn't like it too much, so I took him off  her hands.

His favorite thing is to sleep in people's hair.
 He's SO FREAKIN' CUTE!!

I love this little guy. After the first couple hours of getting him I thought I was going to have to give him away because he wouldn't stop chirping! I've officially decided to keep them and let them go into the wild together when they are fully grown.

I have a lot of outfits to upload this weekend. I think I am going to do a photo shoot so you can see everything I have worn this week.

This outfit was from this last Tuesday. My sister and I went to the DAV (which is a thrift shop) and we got 13 things for $25!! We were so happy!!

I got this dress back in 7th grade. It still fits!

This jacket my sis and I got at the DAV. Later that day I was looking at it and noticed someone made it! This fabric was used a lot in the 80's on furniture. I am probably wearing someone's couch hahahaa

This is just the coolest! They are license plates!!
 My sisters hand hahaa
He follows me everywhere! He runs when I get too far ahead!

This week was extremely weird.. No one said anything mean about any of my outfits.. I guess their eyes are finally adjusting or they are doing it behind my back..

I have also been busy making little bows for my hair. I have done these before. Like the little scraps of fabric my friends will give my in my fashion class, but I took this a couple steps further. I love making them. I get to let my craftiness out.

The faces were a pin that my mom gave me a really long time ago that I found.
The fabric was my little sister's nightgown when she was like 2 or 3. I sew the lace on myself (that took forever)!!

I had this wire in my car and once I was really bored and made it into a flower and put it on my visor. I was looking at it and thought "I NEED TO PUT THIS ON MY HEAD!!" I am still working on how I am going to attach it. I am so excited!!

I need to take some good pictures of Oscar so you can see him! I will also take pictures of this weeks outfits!

Thank you for staying with me you guys! You are all amazing!

Little relaxing music to start the next part of your day.

Tomorrow!!
